We took the summer essentials – sunshine, icy drinks, and a killer outdoor concert – and mixed them into our campaign for McCafé summer drinks. To find our energetic summer sound, we collaborated with indie folk rock band Run River North. Their refreshing style provided the perfect soundtrack for the new lineup of refreshing summer drinks.
With RRN’s rising popularity, we thought, “Why not turn RRN fans, into McDonald’s fans?” Our idea came to life through a free pop up concert at a local McDonald’s. We invited fans via social media to come out and enjoy a show and tasty McCafé drinks. We also held a social media photo contest during the event to win exclusive RRN merch and McDonald’s swag.
